I love all types of games, but roleplaying has a special place in my heart. Honestly, most of my dearest friends are people with whom I’ve swung imaginary swords. As a player, I have years of experience in countless systems, and I am an experienced Shadowrun gamemaster, but this is my first attempt at creating and running my own fantasy world, and it has been more fun than I could have anticipated! I now truly understand what people mean when they talk about performing a labor of love.
For the past decade, I have taught the epic to high schoolers, so I guess I’m channeling Homer for inspiration. I have a background in theater, and in addition to my teaching credentials, I have an English degree with a focus on Creative Writing. I’m hoping all of
that—mixed with the talents of my players--adds up to something worthwhile for all of us: players, gamemaster, and anyone who gives it a listen.

Hello!  Like most of you, I have been an avid gamer since I was young.  My oldest brother Mark, yes the one right above me, created a simple set of combat rules with D6s for my G.I. Joes when I was around 6.  I have been hooked ever since.  I love pretty much any type of game.  I was running DC Heroes and Hero Quest for my friends when I was young.  When I got older I ran Earthdawn.  I also played a whole lot of Shadowrun with Mark, Jon, and other friends.

Later I started playing Mage Knight and moved onto Warmachine. I love miniature wargames.  I love the gaming and hobby side of wargames.  I paint minis as often as I can and I have my own studio in my basement called Snow Fight Studios.  I started competitively painting over the last couple of years and really enjoy the creative push and challenge.

Thanks for checking us out!!!!!!!!

I have been called many things in my life: son, brother, husband, friend, attorney, musician, author, podcaster, audio editor…, and gamer.

My cousin ran a demo of AD&D for me when I was 8 and I never looked back. I’ve been playing a vast swath of board, video, and role-playing games for the majority of my life, so I can say with complete honesty that I was a “gamer” long before there was ever a word defining it. I can also honestly say that I could not be more excited about this modern renaissance of role playing games; with Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, live streaming, and audio podcasts leading the charge in bringing this life-long hobby of mine to the forefront of popularity. Finally, people can see what I have found so engaging about these games for so long and why they are fundamentally important to me.

From the heights of Twitch channel popularity to the people willing to set up a camera for their home games, you all inspire me greatly to join in this online community we have all created together, and I can’t wait to show you what we can contribute…

Pretty sure I'm the oldest gamer of the group.  I started in the midd 80's with the first edition AD&D with the green dice with no inking on the numbers. Worked on siege engines made  out of portable holes and bags of holding while making ninjas in oriental adventures. Played off and on through high school.   Met up with Mark and Brian in college and got back into gaming while in college mostly playing Shadowrun.

I started with 2nd edition AD&D in the early nineties. Lived through my goth phase with Vampire the Masquerade. Played through D&D 3.5. Had a bit of a hiatus when I went to college. Then picked up miniature gaming where I met Brian and Lance.
